FAQs
What’s the dress code?
Mountain chic, but semi-formal for reference. Weather in the mountains can be unpredictable so layers are a great idea. Surfaces at the venue may be grassy and uneven so make sure to bring appropriate footwear.
Can I bring my child?
Due to venue capacity restrictions we’re only able to accommodate a limited number of guests, including select children. We hope you will be able to join us but understand that finding childcare may impact your attendance, so feel free to reach out with questions or concerns. We appreciate your understanding and support.
How do I get to the venue? Is transportation provided?
Lodging options are scattered throughout the mountains, so unfortunately we’re unable to provide transportation for everyone. We recommend carpooling if possible — just let us know if you need any help arranging it. Ubers and other rideshares may be available but should be scheduled in advance to ensure a ride.
Do you have a hotel block?
We are not doing a hotel block since so many will opt to stay in one of the many local short term rentals. Check out the Lodging section for some of our recommendations on where to stay.
Tip: Check with others you know are attending to see about sharing a spot or booking together.
Is it indoors or outdoors?
Mostly outdoors, although there will be a covered tent area in case of inclement weather.
Will there be parking available?
Yes, our venue has plenty of free on-site parking.
Will there be food?
We’re serving a family-style dinner highlighting local ingredients and dishes. We’ll have vegan and gluten-free options available, but please let us know in your RSVP if you have any other allergies or dietary restrictions and we’ll try our best to accommodate.
What other activities are planned for the weekend?
We’re excited to spend the whole weekend with our friends and family. Check out the itinerary for more details — we’ll be adding some group outings and activities as the date gets closer.
What’s the best way to RSVP?
Please RSVP online. If you send us a text or email, please also make sure to fill out the form so we can keep all responses in one place.
Should I bring a gift?
We’re thankful to have everything we could need and all we request is your presence. If you’d really like to give a gift, consider adding to our honeymoon adventure fund or donating to one of our favorite charities below.
BARCS - We adopted our husky, Tika, here and we’re forever grateful for them.
Pisgah Area Sorba - They put immense effort into maintaining and advocating for our local trail networks, where we spend a lot of our time.
When do I need to RSVP by?
Please let us know if you’re able to make it by April 1, 2025 so we can give our vendors a final headcount.
What’s the best way to contact you if I’ve got more questions?
